Use your own quotes and amounts for one shipment and one cost boundary. Every amount starts blank. Enter all amounts in the same currency after making any currency conversions yourself; this worksheet applies no exchange rate.
Your amounts, your estimate. Entries are not saved or sent by this worksheet. Copy your result before leaving.
Use a decimal point, without commas or currency symbols. Leave unknown amounts blank. Enter zero yourself when you intentionally mean zero.
Your own estimate
Enter a currency label and your amounts. Blank lines are not zero.
This is a sum of the entered lines. Check the quotation scope and any other charges separately.
Manual worksheet — works without JavaScript
Copy these blank lines into your own document. Use one currency and include only the amounts you have established.
YOUR OWN LANDED-COST ESTIMATE Currency: Material: Packing: Inland transport: Port charges: Freight: Insurance: Duty amount: Destination delivery: Your total: Add: material + packing + inland transport + port charges + freight + insurance + duty + destination delivery. A blank is unentered, not zero. Record any missing costs separately.
What the total includes
Your entered estimate = material + packing + inland transport + port charges + freight + insurance + duty + destination delivery.
The total adds only those eight lines. It does not discover missing charges or calculate duties, taxes, insurance premiums or freight rates. Other charges outside these entries remain outside the total, even when every field is filled. Read the shipping cost guide when setting the scope of each line.
A blank means you have not entered an amount. It is excluded from the subtotal and keeps the worksheet incomplete. Enter zero yourself only when you intentionally mean zero for that line, including when you have accounted for it within another line. Invalid amounts stop the result until corrected; they are not silently treated as zero.
Keep the quotation boundary consistent
Check what each quotation already includes before adding separate charges. Use the Incoterms comparison to review the named delivery point and quoted cost scope. The ICC overview explains the rules’ allocation of costs, risks and obligations; it is not a rate source. A shipping term does not supply a current cost for this shipment.
Avoid counting an included freight or insurance charge again. Keep a record of your quote date, currency, exclusions and any adjustments in your own documents. The worksheet does not obtain or verify any of them. It contains no example prices or default amounts.
Use and keep your own estimate
The currency field is a label for the single currency you are using. It does not validate currency availability or convert amounts. Enter decimal amounts without commas or currency symbols. Up to six decimal places are supported; the display retains the precision of the entries rather than imposing a currency-specific rounding rule.
With fewer than eight entered amounts, the result is labelled a subtotal. When all eight amounts and a currency label are entered, it is labelled your own landed-cost estimate. This is a sum of your entries, not a supplier quote or a guarantee that all costs have been included.
You can copy the estimate for your own records and clear the entries. Nothing entered is saved or sent by the worksheet. Without JavaScript, the blank manual worksheet and addition formula remain available below the input area. For the material requirements behind the quotation, use the specification builder or printable enquiry record.
