Write the requirements you want to carry into your own order documents. The builder combines your non-empty entries with two fixed passages from the linked site guides. It does not choose a stone, fill in a tolerance or infer an approval from a sample reference.
Your entries stay in this page. The builder does not save or send them. Copy your text before leaving.
Your specification text
Enter a field to start.
Fixed wording included with your entries
Dimensional tolerance wording
A workable clause identifies the nominal finished thickness, permitted individual readings, maximum variation within one piece, gauge type, measurement locations and treatment of textured surfaces.
From Dimensional tolerance wording guide, section “A clear thickness clause”.
Sample approval wording
Approval should be conditional on continued conformity to the purchase specification. It should not waive dimensional tolerances, quantity requirements, packaging rules, test criteria or defects that are not visible in the submitted sample.
From Sample approval wording guide, section “What granite sample approval should accomplish”.

Where the fixed wording comes from
The two passages above are copied from the sizes and tolerances guide and samples and mock-ups guide. Their source links are included in the copied text. They describe what needs defining and what sample approval does not waive; they supply no numerical tolerance or evidence that a particular material has been approved.
Prepare the entries you need
Keep units, drawings and revisions explicit. For dimensions, distinguish a nominal format from a required usable area. In the thickness and tolerance field, enter the actual project requirement and how it will be checked. A blank field is omitted from the output, rather than replaced with a guessed value. The field count helps you see what remains unentered.
A sample reference should connect to the physical range, finish and recorded conditions. It does not establish test performance or permit a different material source. Use the sample approval record for that supporting information. The specification enquiry record is a printable alternative for collecting requirements, and the container loading guide helps with the packing discussion.
The output is your entered text plus the displayed guide passages. Check it against the project documents before using it. The builder has no submission or enquiry function; it does not save or send what you enter. With JavaScript off, use the manual template above and fill your own copy outside the page.
